Join the JCV congregation for warm, friendly, and uplifting services to welcome Shabbat. Services begin at 7:30pm with the exception of early services once a month on the second Friday of the month that start at 5:30pm. The late services are followed by an Oneg Shabbat with light refreshments. The early services are frequently followed by a delicious Shabbat dinner.
All services are in-person, but can also be joined virtually via Zoom.
On the first Saturday of the month, there are Shabbat morning services from 10:00am to 11:30am followed by a Kiddush. These beautiful services begin with morning blessings and include prayers and melodies that are different from those in Friday evening services. Saturday morning services include a Torah reading with commentary—and sometimes a discussion—as well as a Haftorah reading, drawn from the Prophets. The Saturday Shabbat Services offer the opportunity to attend religious services for those who cannot attend on Friday evening or prefer going to services on Saturday morning and for those who simply enjoy the Saturday services.
All services are in-person, but can also be joined virtually via Zoom.
