Chavurot

Chavurot

What is a Chavurah? Chavurah (plural Chavurot) comes from the Hebrew word, “chaver,” meaning friend or fellowship.

The JCV program is designed to bring congregation members together to know more about one another outside the walls of the synagogue. Each Chavurah is a self-directed group of synagogue members who come together to build friendships and socialize. The group sets its own schedule and type of socializing.

For many, a JCV Chavurah becomes an extended family. If you are interested in joining a Chavurah, send a message to membership@thejcv.org.
