God on Trial

A powerful movie that explores the unsolved question of the
existence of evil in a universe ruled by an all-powerful, benevolent
God. Staged much like a play, God on Trial uses an unconfirmed
story—that doomed Jewish prisoners at Auschwitz put God on trial for
abandoning them—as the jumping-off point for a thoughtful
examination of religion and free will.
