On August 5, the Strategic Planning Committee began implementing the Year 1 Action Plan. The session began with an overview of the implementation process which includes a monthly cycle of action + coordination + accountability. This session was led by a consultant affiliated with the Gulf Coast Community Foundation (GCCF). The JCV was awarded a GCCF grant to help provide funds through its Invest In Incredible (I3) initiative.
The first step in reaching final implementation is the preparation of annual committee work plans. Annual committee work plans are an important tool for defining tasks and tracking completed action steps as we move forward. This is an important tool to ensure that we remain forward-looking and understand what additional resources, if any, will be necessary for us to achieve our goals. The Year 1 Action Plan is a living document that will continue to be updated in real time, so expect that there will be changes to deadlines and assignments of responsibilities.
