On May 29, 2024, the Jewish Congregation of Venice Board approved our Strategic Plan. The plan reflects the three priorities identified by the JCV Board and committee members through examination of external and internal factors affecting the future of the JCV.
GOAL 1: Increase the capacity of volunteer and staff leadership and their use of practices that promote inclusion and inquiry.
GOAL 2: Grow the size and engagement of the JCV membership.
GOAL 3: Enhance the financial viability and acumen of the JCV.
Participants then met in three separate groups to develop action plans for each goal. This process was facilitated by consultant Whitney Crettol, whom we were able to hire with the help of a Gulf Coast Community Foundation grant. To view the plan, click here.
